Entry-level Field Tech. This is an apprenticeship to one of the best field techs in the NYC area.
If you are a techie because you love it and want to expand your knowledge, send your resume to jobs at entechserv dot com. You must be facile with Windows desktop/servers. Some familiarity with Linux is a plus. Include what scripting and other languages you have learned — what you want to learn. We are looking for someone who can go into an unknown situation and solve problems on the fly.

One of our partners, PDG Consultants, a Microsoft vendor, is extremely talented, with very loyal clients. We handle server infrastructure for them whenever they need us.
It is refreshing to work with PDG’s clients, since these people are ALL devoted to Steve Simon and to Rich Lederer. Whatever magic they do, they do it well because their clients have been with them for a looooong time and are very, very happy. This makes the work we do so much easier.
Imagine the honor we felt when we received this today:

I StumbledUpon Seth Godin’s blog and have been following him ever since. This post, though, makes me wish he had comments open.
